The growth forecasts for the solar market do not stop growing! Just as various researches from sector bodies have shown in recent months, the evolution of the installed power of distributed generation on average in Brazil jumped from 8,846 MW in 2021 to 9,288 in early 2022. The data disclosed by the portal Absolar represent an increase of 5%, and show great chances of confirming the forecasts of the International Energy Agency (IEA), which foresees a growth in the use of solar energy of 30% in the world in 2022.

In the sum between shared generation and distributed generation, the figures showed an average change from 13,478 MW in the previous year to 14,024 MW at the beginning of this year, reaching new levels of installed power in Brazil.

The comparison with previous years makes the forecasts even more plausible, considering that in the year 2020, the photovoltaic power in the country registered 4,898 MW, as well as in 2019, with 2,131 MW. Research shows that the investment market in the photovoltaic sector also collects great numbers, adding up to more than R$48 billion since 2012.

A reference in this scenario, CGC Energia is a regional leader in the construction of solar photovoltaic plants in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, investing in one of the fastest growing markets in the country in a sustainable way!
